"Avant l'Orage": the new exhibition of the Pinault Collection

The Pinault Collection at the Bourse de Commerce in Paris never stops to amaze us!  After their great "Time No Longer", the building recently hosted the "Avant l'Orage" exhibition, which will run until September 11, 2023.

You will walk through different rooms of the building to discover different works and installations. The global idea is here to redefine our relationship with climate change and to immerse ourselves in other biodiversities as well as in our reflection on the environment and the fragility of our today's world.

Fifteen artists, including Diana Thater, Pierre Huyghe, Rober Goder or Lucas Arruda, propose paintings, immersive art works, videos, sculptures ... So many ways to raise issues such as the place of plants in our daily lives, the contamination of soil by our industries or our relationship to the seasons.

This choice is all the more interesting since the Bourse du Commerce used to be the capital's granary back in the 18th century, before becoming a financial center in 1889, and then finally being transformed into a cultural center, inaugurated in spring 2021. Don't miss this nice visit, even just to admire its architecture ; the building is about 20 minutes from our hotel, on foot or by public transport.
