The Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, located in the 6ᵉ arrondissement of Paris, is one of the capital's most iconic places steeped in history. A former bohemian quarter, it was the birthplace of major literary and artistic figures such as Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, and Boris Vian, who frequented its legendary cafés, notably Café de Flore and Les Deux Magots.

Today, this chic district retains its intellectual and artistic atmosphere, with antique bookshops, art galleries and elegant boutiques. It is also home to some magnificent historic monuments, such as the Church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, one of the oldest churches in Paris, and the Musée Delacroix, dedicated to the Romantic painter.
